Our Teas Selection
The adventure begins with tea
Crush, tear, curl (sometimes cut, tear, curl) is a method of processing black tea in which the leaves are passed through a series of cylindrical rollers with hundreds of sharp teeth that crush, tear, and curl the tea into small, hard pellets. This replaces the final stage of orthodox tea manufacture, in which the leaves are rolled into strips. CTC tea can be prepared in two methods– one is with milk and sugar. A sweetish and caramel-like taste is derived from this recipe. While some tea lovers prefer to enjoy the wildness of CTC tea – the robust flavor. With a red wine-like color and misty flavor from the weather of Assam, it tastes like malts.

Orthodox tea refers to the tea which is made or processed using the traditional method. Orthodox teas are generally bright and brisk and have a multilayered flavor profile. Orthodox Tea is produced using the traditional methods of Tea production which include plucking, withering, rolling, oxidation and drying. Black Orthodox teas are a delightful tea experience from their cup of tea. Graded by leaf size, texture, and appearance, the dedication, and care for the quality of tea packed are complemented by production, quality assurance, and more favorable taste. The beautiful ruby-red tea color of orthodox black tea is wonderful to see. Steaming cups of this red-gold colored tea is invigorating and revive you instantly. This lovely, premium tea has been sought the world over for its robust taste and distinctive flavor.

Black premium OP1 Tea is a fine grade of tea, made of long, slightly wiry, and slightly twisted leaves and buds. These teas have a rich aromatic forest-like scent. The liquor generally has a light golden reddish color and a delicate lighter taste. Takes a slightly longer time to brew compared to other teas due to its leafiness.
